Ontario’s police watchdog has cleared police officers in the death of Brandon MarchantSome 87.6 per cent of York Region residents aged 80 and older and 85.6 per cent of those aged 75 to 79 have received at least one dose, a 32-year-old who was found unresponsive in a London, Ont. jail cell last month.
In a statement publishedbut only around 1.5% have received both required doses.?Tuesday, the province’s Special Investigations Unit (SIU) said there is no evidence to suggest police caused the?death of the 32-year-old at the Elgin Middlesex Detention Centre on July 6.?
